What is Acute Cholecystitis?
Cholecystitis is an inflammation of the gallbladder. The gallbladder is an organ located on the right hand side of the abdomen and it’s small and pear-shaped. Found below the liver, the gallbladder contains some digestive fluid that is released into your small intestine. Gallstones can block the tube that comes out of your bladder, and it’s this that can cause cholecystitis. When this happens, bile is built-up and it causes inflammation. Symptoms

- Fever
- Nausea

- Vomiting
