Earache and pain is very common and young children are more likely to suffer from it. The good news is our GP Service for an Earache in Fuengirola can help you. Ear aches can range from slightly painful to very painful depending on what is causing the pain.

You do not have to put up with the pain in your ear as it could be symptomatic of something serious.

What Causes an Earache?

People suffer from earaches for a variety of reasons. However, there are some quite common reasons why one or both ears are causing pain.

Earaches can be caused by:

  • A dental abscess
  • Teething in children
  • A build up of ear wax
  • Glue ear
  • A perforated ear drum
  • Something stuck in the ear
  • A sore throat
  • Tonsillitis
  • Quinsy
  • Cold
  • The flu
  • An ear infection

It's not always clear what the cause of an earache might be. If you have a cold or the flu it's likely that it's what is causing your pain. However, if the earache gets worse or persists you will need to get it checked out by a GP.
